KUNMING, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- The plenary session of the 2025 Global South Media and Think Tank Forum and the 4th Yunnan International Communication Forum opened Saturday in Kunming, capital of southwest China's Yunnan Province.
The 2025 Global South Media and Think Tank Forum, running through next Tuesday, is co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency, the Communist Party of China Yunnan Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Yunnan Province. It has gathered around 500 participants from more than 260 media outlets, think tanks, government agencies and international organizations across 110 countries and regions.
