ABU DHABI, 27th February, 2023 (WAM) -- H.H Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation (FDF), today received Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah, Queen of Malaysia.
During the meeting, Sheikha Fatima welcomed the visit of Queen Azizah to the UAE, and they exchanged friendly talks.
They also discussed ways of strengthening the cooperation between women's and children's associations in the two countries.
Queen Azizah lauded the role of Sheikha Fatima in women's empowerment and in supporting families.
She then thanked Sheikha Fatima for the warm welcome and hospitality.
Sheikha Fatima held a luncheon in honour of Queen Azizah and her delegation.
