Another ferry tragedy occurs in Philippines

Another ferry disaster has resulted in the possibility of over twenty deaths in the Philippines.

Many people are missing after a ferry sank in waters south of the Philippines capital, Manila.

The vessel was carrying 88 passengers and crew when the vessel and a fishing boat collided in darkness.

The Coast Guard has said when its members arrived at the scene, many people were in the murky dark waters crying for help and calling out for missing family members

Sea accidents are common in the Philippines because of poor safety regulations.
