Yahoo and Microsoft deal gets through Australia/Canada authorities

The advertising partnership between Yahoo and Microsoft has been approved by both the Australian and Canadian competition authorities.
Authorities in both countries separately concluded their reviews and said they had no objections to a proposed agreement which will possibly see a joint Yahoo-Microsoft offensive against Google, the current leader in the lucrative search and advertising market.
The agreement is still subject to review by US anti-trust regulators.
