60 Afghan children confirmed dead after US bombings
Malaysia News.Net Tuesday 26th August, 2008
A United Nations investigation says it has found convincing evidence that 90 civilians were killed in US-led air strikes in western Afghanistan on Friday.
While the US-led coalition has acknowledged that five civilians, two women and three children, were killed in the air strikes in Herat, a human rights team with the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan says it has found convincing evidence that 90 civilians were killed in the attack, including 60 children.
An Afghan investigation has already found that the strikes killed 90 civilians.
According to the mission, up to eight houses were destroyed, there were eyewitness accounts of the attack, and local residents could confirm the number of casualties by names, ages and gender.
The investigation into the incident is continuing.
The Afghan Government has called for a complete revamp of the rules of engagement for foreign forces in the wake of the deaths.

60 Afghan children confirmed dead after US bombings
This is worse than anything that China, Iran, Russia, or Georgia have done lately.
Its funny how the US government still points their fingers at others.

Afghan people deserve peace and love
Lots of people here seem to want to get on their high horse and complain about everyone and keep the dreaam of fighting forever.. Is that what you want?, to find another person to blame and fight? There are enough people wanting war, where are the visionaries for peace and a better future?

Rather Pointed how Wrong the UN was to get behind a Lie!
When the UN got behind the lil bush lie and 'sanctioned' the killing of Afghanis 'without proof', it set upon itself all the same smells! All the same lies! All the same injustices! All the same loss of RULE OF LAW!
And the same Problem! How to stop?

What's the point on killing innocent civilians in afghanistan...
So... manyyyyyyyy lives have been lost in Afghanistan as a result of U.S bombings... Who says innocents should be killed in the name of catching the terrorists... will killing the people eradicate terrorism.... I don’t think so.... What should we do then????
I oppose nationalism.. why can’t people follow internationalism.. why to have such a localised thinking of nationalism( somewhat it comes under a broad definition of regionalism).......
If we could only develop a feeling of internationalism instead of nationalism... humanity & moral value will follow.
Just seeing the life through rose coloured glasses... But plz do think about it... and follow...

NICE NEW WORLD ORDER THINKING !
Common 'internationalist” type thinking of bush the trotskyists and neo-cons .The word international has two parts inter -and -national allowing for mutual cooperation and national independance. The afghans need to be free and independant to determine their own future includung their own religion. Not have thei future determined for them by kind NWO “internationalists “of NATO and The US.
