Kuala Lumpur, may 5 : The malaysian Indian Congress (MIC) has demanded that the Government should stop using the excuse that it cannot help 373 Tamil schools because they are partially aided.
MIC central working committee member M. Saravanan said the Government should not run away from its commitment to build or upgrade these schools because of their status.
According to The Star, of the 523 Tamil schools in Malaysia, 373 are partially aided and built mostly on private land.
"The Indian community is not asking for mega projects like the Twin Towers. We want Tamil schools, temples and jobs in the public sector. Is it so difficult for the Government to help the 373 partially-aided schools?" Saravanan asked.

BE A MALAYSIAN-ONE COUNTRY, ONE SCHOOL SYSTEM,
What is wrong wwith our national educational system. We should abolish all the tamil and chinese schools and only have the NATIONAL TYPE SCHOOL and chinese and tamil language should be taught as a subject. We should move away from all this polarization school system. You dare to call yourself a Malaysian? There is no chinese school or indian school in Singapore and yet all the Singaporean live in one society and call themselves a Singaporean. If you have people like M. Saravanan in MIC central working committee and still harping on this issue, you don’t expect to go far. I recommend you to apply for another country citizenship or go back to India.

Hello Dr.Sardine..if we ask to aid tamil school we become racist &So how about youre muslim goverment provide billions in ringgit in term of scholarship/funds for madrasah & sekolah agama?? so who is racist...Current national education system is really screwed up coz is really a race based on quota system even though the goverment denied it(thats the reality).A merit non muslim student can get through university due to this quota system,even though they get they will offered with useless course. A lead example our education system screwed up is when they offerd a doctorate to a stupid person like you.SO YOU DR>SARDINE PLS WAKE...

I believe that the MIC only now realised this problem after so many years of being in the BN.
What were the party members or for that matter the MIC chief doing all this while?
Maybe, previously they were too busy exploiting the Indians with self-interest schemes such as Maika Holdings,KOPP Didik and others where we only hear of big losses but the top management is still remains the same.

Tamil school should full aid
Thanks for Mr M.Saravanan, what he say is right that all the Tamil school should be fully aid by know, what so difficult to government to full fill this? Whereby Indian give billion profit true plantation to the government. Y not their spent this money to improve the condition of Tamil school, temple , housing scheme in estate( even no proper drinking water in 80% of estate what happen , shame Malaysia) . What Indian want is improve Tamil school, temple land problem, job in government , education scholarship, bussines loan.... I think this can done by the government, if thier think want to help, if not next 150 years be same story... unless we change the goverment..... haaaaaaa

Saravanan is just echoing the sentiments of other races. Unless all parties stop race-based politics,and selective discrimination, I don’t see an end to our woes.

Racialism can also be a synonym of racism.The whole world is moving away from this evil and this character M. Saravanan is briging back medieval systems of education. What is wrong with this present National Education System? The MIC is suffering from Xenophobia,a disease which has no cure. This character seems to love victim of racial profiling. Stop this nonsense and wake up.
